Australian Solar Prices on the Plateau

 

Solar panel prices have fallen rapidly in recent years, however latest reports indicate that the industry will soon hit a pricing plateau. According to Bloomberg New Energy Finance the cost of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems has fallen dramatically over the past five years, unfortunately 2012 figures point to this being a failing trend.

Australian Solar Not So Aussie

Proceedings have been launched against two solar panel manufacturers for falsely claiming their solar panels were Australian made. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) claims that Euro Solar and Australian Solar Panel ran advertising campaigns suggesting they make or supply Australian solar panels when they are in fact manufactured in China.
