Melbourne solar company and renewable energy developer, Diamond Energy, has recently received investment funding from abroad.
SunPower Corp, a US based solar company hopes to provide Australians with a variety of renewable energy solutions through its partnerships in Australia.
Together, Diamond Energy and SunPower will create a ‘one stop shop’ for consumers providing numerous solar options, metering and billing strategies.
Currently SunPower has investments measuring 42 per cent of Diamond Energy’s shares, with intentions to increase its stake in the future.
SunPower is no newcomer to Australia having helped build the Uterne Solar Plant in Alice Springs and helping Crowne Plaza Hotel and Perth Zoo with their solar energy solutions.
