JinkoSolar Holding Co. Ltd, based in China, has announced a move to Australia with JinkoSolar Australia Co. Ltd being based in Queensland.
The Ormeau office, north of the Gold Coast, will serve as a sales and delivery hub, and house up to 5 megawatts (MW) of photovoltaic solar modules.
“The Australian market is highly orientated towards renewable energy and with the ‘Zero Carbon Australia 2020 Stationary Energy Plan’ we see this as the perfect time to settle in Oz,” said Mr Li.
“We have a diverse customer base including China, Germany, America, Italy, France and Switzerland, and now we can serve the expanding Australian solar market.”
