KJM Contractors have unveiled plans for a solar panel installation at their Adelaide address.

The solar plant in Edinburgh Park will be home to 1,980 poly-crystalline panels and 15 inverters, all of which have been specifically designed to withstand the area’s extreme wind and heat conditions.

It is estimated that the 470 kilowatt photovoltaic system will save KJM Contractors and the local energy grid over 470 tonnes of carbon emissions every year and produce 727 megawatts of electricity annually.

The project has been funded thanks to an AusIndustry grant and to be installed by Ingenero later this year.
