Australians have jumped at the opportunity to install solar panels knowing they can substantially cut the cost of their electricity bills, according to a solar Energy report just released by the Climate Commission.

According to the report 10% of Australians are now powering their homes with solar power, with figures showing most of these people residing in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.  This uptake is being called a ‘solar revolution’ states Climate Commission chief Tim Flannery.
