Built in sunny Australia, the egg carton home below was built utilising recycled egg cartons. The egg carton home was modeled after Howard Arkley’s well-known painting, Family Home: Surburban Exterior 1993, which was considered the Australian dream of suburban living.

Corrugated Fibre-board is quite difficult to recycle or breakdown. In order to prove the materials viability, a team of university students created this small, functional, environmentally friendly building.
Beer Cans For Sale
The owner of this truly inspirational beer can home in Houston, Texas, was the brainchild of the home owner, John. He decided that beer cans were the easiest source of recycled material to build an alternative type home. He was so proud of his construction that he decided it didn’t even need a paint job. It’s estimated over 50,000 cans were used.
