Alice Springs has been celebrated as one of Australia’s most solar-efficient towns thanks to a new solar installation on the Araluen Art Centre’s roof. The 162 kilowatt photovoltaic (PV) system will generate 330 megawatts of electricity, saving the area up to 231 tonnes of carbon emissions per year.
