U.S solar giant SunEdison is leading the solar energy market with its innovative large-scale projects. At the advent of the solar industry, many businesses took a risk getting involved when the market itself looked quite volatile and uncertain.

Innovative financing options are now available for those interested in purchasing solar, making solar installation in the home simpler and more affordable. Industry U.S solar giants have come up with a novel way to expand the market for solar by selling the systems within a financed package of sorts, avoiding huge upfront payments whilst positioning the package as another way of purchasing electricity in a cost-effective way.

Just recently, GRID Alternatives, Australia’s biggest not-for-profit solar installer, and SunEdison, an energy development firm from Missouri, agreed on a partnership deal what will help create renewable energy jobs for low-income workers.

SunEdison, together with other partners, has recently secured an estimated $146 million non-recourse debt financing deal for the construction of three solar PV plants in Honduras with a total energy output of about 81.

SunEdison, the solar PV giant, has recently announced that it is moving into solar power storage. The company has recently acquired the energy storage project origination team, project pipeline and four operating storage projects from Solar Grid Storage.

One of the largest solar PV manufacturer and retailer in the United States, SunEdison, has recently acquired its Australian counterpart, Energy Matters, along with associated companies SunLock and Apollo Energy.
