I just love getting up close to luxury cars! Spinning them can be a mix of pure excitement and tough life. The BMW i8 and Tesla Model S are simply futuristic and a real game changer for the high-powered fleet.

The latest software update in the Model S gave the car autonomous driving capabilities in the form of the Tesla AutoPilot mode, however Tesla owners are reporting videos of their vehicles veering and swerving into oncoming traffic.

Elon Musk has announced he believes Tesla vehicles will be completely autonomous and have an electric range exceeding 1,000km by 2018. He also predicts that all new cars will no longer require a driver by approximately 2035.

Whether Aussies like it or not, the automotive future contains electric vehicles (EV’s), rather than gasoline or diesel powered cars. All areas of the consumer car market are steadily embracing electricity.
